First 48

Caleb is introduced to the story in a cliff hanger  on page 48, he supposedly comes in as a lone traveler. Personally, I think Caleb would be very important. From what I know about the novel so far and the way the current characters are illustrated and the way they go about things, I believe that the entrance of Caleb into the book will end with a huge conflict. That conflict, I believe, would be something to do with the Source. Wanderers are never lost though, He is searching for something; whether that something is in an item, an identity, or just a place to be. The source I believe will become a major conflict starter. The source holds all supplies and is lead by a crooked and corrupt boy, who I think is really just mad with power. I think that Caleb is coming to the town on search for something from the source. I believe the novel will end in a huge conflict between good and evil, positive and negative, variants and humans united to find what Caleb wants and the town of Prin won't exist anymore. People would separate and find their own new way to live.
